I feel especially strong about this company because of their steadfast guidelines of ethical, sustainable, and ecological Co-Impact Sourcing! More than 98% of all the oils they offer are EXCLUSIVELY sourced directly from the growers - no corrupt middlemen involved and full, legitimate, living wages to the farmers and producers - many of whom are women supporting families and escaping poverty!
FYI: The essential oil industry is largely an unregulated industry - meaning there is no oversite or regulating body to determine safety, quality, or labeling/transparency requirements. What this means is that most essential oils are mass produced by poor farmers who sell to brokers for pennies on the dollar to often-time corrupt middlemen.
As a consumer in one of the most privileged countries in the world, it's especially important to me that my purchases to support my health do not harm others!
Essential oil re-sellers and distributors will frequently adulterate the pure oils by adding filler carrier oils and even synthetic essential oils to increase their profit when they turn around and sell it by the drum to essential oil companies. These companies then bottle it, put their own label on it, and sell it as "pure" essential oils. This is why I won't buy or use just any essential oil from just any company.
Because quality, safety, and ethical sourcing are so important to me, I only use doTERRA essential oils.

It's where my family buys all of our organic grains, spices, nuts, seeds, cane sugar, and other baking and cooking essentials for whole foods based cooking! You can order once a month, or do like we do and have a few large, stock-up orders a few times a year! Misfits Market is an awesome resource for fresh, organic fruits, vegetables, and meats shipped right to your door!
Our family buys most of our organic produce and meat through Mistfits Market since it's usually cheaper than the grocery store and more convenient. Eating a mostly whole foods diet based on organic foods and buying humanely and ethically raised meat fed a natural and/or organic diet is really important to me, my health, and the health of my family. You can order weekly for your regular groceries, or once a month, once every few months, etc, and it will arrive at your house on your chosen delivery day! Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezey!
